Formation

Attach -네요 directly to the stem of a verb or adjective.

Consonant ending stem: 먹다 → 먹네요 (Oh, you're eating), 좋다 → 좋네요 (Oh, it's nice)

-군요: Indirect, Acknowledged Information

Nuance: Use -군요 when you learn a new fact, often from someone else or by reasoning. It's more about acknowledging new information than expressing a personal, sensory reaction. It can sound slightly more formal or detached than -네요.

Context: Someone tells you, "This is from Italy." You might respond, 아, 이탈리아에서 왔군요. (Ah, so it's from Italy.). You see someone has a cast on their arm and deduce, 팔을 다쳤군요. (I see you've hurt your arm.).
