This pattern is used to express that a subject causes an object to be in a certain state or to perform an action. It's a causative expression, literally meaning "to make (it) in a [verb/adjective] way."
Formation
Attach -게 to the stem of a verb or adjective, followed by the verb 만들다 (to make).
Adjective Stem + -게 만들다:
따뜻하다 (to be warm) → 따뜻하게 만들다 (to make warm)
어렵다 (to be difficult) → 어렵게 만들다 (to make difficult)
Verb Stem + -게 만들다:
웃다 (to laugh) → 웃게 만들다 (to make someone laugh)
미치다 (to go crazy) → 미치게 만들다 (to make someone go crazy)
Usage
Use this pattern to describe a cause-and-effect relationship where the subject is the cause and the object is the one experiencing the change.
Subject: The person or thing causing the change.
Object: The person or thing being changed.

-게 만들다
